Spotlight Artist: CURRELL

In the spirit of such musical greats as James Brown, Prince, Elvis Pressley and Michael Jackson, Currell began composing music in his head at a very early age. He recalls seizing an opportunity to display his gift, when a middle school music teacher, “challenged” him to create an original musical composition.Currell exceeded all expectations by wowing the teachers and students alike with his original score and electrifying musical performance. Currell  further cultivated his passion for music by attending the Boston Arts Academy concentrating in Vocal Performance. There, he received the classical foundation he believed would be required in order to achieve the level of success he craved. This decision propelled Currell to become a standout member of the group Erratic, which later established him as a solo artist, . Currell also wrote and sold  records to kevon Edmonds for Deff Jam Records. During the mid 2000s currell was a work for hire for bad boy records, writing next to the Great Ryan leslie, and Sean the Pen Garret. Assisting in vocal production for recording artist under the bad boy roster of musicians and creators.Currell  lives up to his name because of his myriad abilities as a musical performer, producer and songwriter thus, the total entertainment package. Currell has been described as one of the most talented artists of his generation because of his commitment to honing his craft in all areas of musical performance. It is Currell ’s strong belief that one must be the uber-entertainer in order to maintain icon status. It is also Currell  fervent hope, to re-invent and reenergize the ultimate entertainment experience. Currell, coming to a theater, stage, arena near you!!!
