Continuing his work as an artist, he joined So 802 in 2016 with other local artists like Yung Breeze, Jibba the Gent and Brad Vazy. He was featured on the song “Maple Syrup” which got him first noticed with over 100k views on YouTube.

In December 2016 Jun reached out to Boston promoter, Chaz Ray, for the first ever underground competition, winning the top prize with an all expense paid trip to New York City and a radio interview on Shade 45 Sirius XM Radio with DJ Lord Sear in January 2017. While at Shade 45, he was greeted by Sway, from Sway in the morning and after would meet with Wyclef and obtained his contact.
