Warwick roots. Soulful sound. A voice reaching beyond the region.

Singer, songwriter, and independent creative Olivia King brings together the warmth of old-school soul and the energy of modern pop. Inspired by artists including Lauryn Hill, Musiq Soulchild, and Michael Jackson, she’s built her own lane through expressive vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and the drive to create on her own terms.

Since choosing the independent path in 2017, Olivia has earned placements on Spotify playlists including New Music Friday and R&B Slow Jams. Her music has also reached television audiences through Peacock’s One of Us Is Lyingand Shark Week—taking a voice from Rhode Island to listeners far beyond New England.

At New England Mic Check Radio, our Artist Honor Roll Certified recognition celebrates the artists whose creativity, dedication, and contributions help shape our region’s sound.

Today, we salute Olivia King for her artistry, independent spirit, and commitment to sharing her voice with the world.

Olivia, you earned this. Rhode Island talent. New England pride. HONOR ROLL CERTIFIED!

From the region. For the culture.
