Veana Marie was born and raised in MA. She started early on, singing in church & writing poetry. She studied music at Barnstable Highschool & later was accepted to Berklee School of Music. Finding that she wanted to be more hands on in music, Veana left Berklee and started working for a small local record label out of Boston where she wrote, recorded music & scouted for talented musicians & singers.

Then there came a time where she had to put her music career on hold to have a family, but during that time Veana never stopped writing. Once she was able to find the time she put together & released her 1st mixtape entitled “The Heat is Calling” in 2012. In December of 2014 Veana released a compilation album entitled “In My Element” which featured some new material & remasters of a few songs from “The Heat Is Calling”. In 2016 Veana released 2 free singles about the epidemic of drug addiction called “Dying Slow” & issues of police brutality & bullying with “Scarlett Letter”. In August of 2017 she released another mixtape entitled “All A Masquerade” featuring guest artists & producers contributing their talents from all over the country. In August of 2018 Veana dropped her 2nd original Mixtape “Straight Outta These Lips” which was re-released on DatPiff in October 2019. After finding new management in Sinista1 Productions on Black Friday, November 2018 she released her 1stofficial EP “Vee” distributed to over 20 major online shopping outlets & media streaming sites via Distrokid where last year her single “The Paper Chase” from the EP garnished 150K Streams & “The Bigger Picture” had 50K Streams on Spotify.

The Veana Marie roller coaster was heading up the hill… She put together a weekly live performance series in Brockton called “Thursday Through the Summer Concert Series” that featured upcoming local talent in 2019, and performed at over 50 shows including Faneuil Hall for M.O.A.R. (Addiction Awareness), the Brockton Holiday Parade & closed out the outdoor hotspot PROVA! For the 2nd year in a row with her DJ Sinista1. Veana was all set to go for 2020, but COVID19 hit & hit hard…

COVID didn’t stop Veana Marie as she adapted as her & Sinista1 Productions put a plan together to stay working via the Internet over livestreaming. At first people laughed at the idea of performing for people online and was met with comments early on, but by September of 2020 Veana had performed for 10 events online, traveled to NY for a COVID safe radio interview in Brooklyn with VeroG of DTF Radio, conducted an overseas interview with Mimzy Carter, put out a Christmas EP featuring local talent like ElionV and Podcast host Travis Partington of Oscar Mike Radio, but 2020 didn’t end there for Veana Marie…

Veana Marie closed out her 2020 doing something no other female Boston Music Artist in her genre has done and that was to take her Veana Marie brand and sponsor a professional UFC Fighter… In December Veana Marie sponsored UFC Fighter Peter Barrett at UFC 256 a local fighter who trains out of UFC Legend Joe Lauzon’s school. Veana Marie and her management felt it was a way to get her brand noticed by a different set of eyes to extend her opportunities and it paid off as Peter pushed her brand on his social media accounts multiple days before his fight & and her logo was featured on the back of his walkout shirt which he wore and was purchased by his fans.

In 2021 Veana was geared up and performand on Feb. 18th for a Fundraiser for Johanna Hampton-Dance who was running for Worcester City Council, she was named to the Freshman Class of DaVibe Magazine, she was featured on the March cover of Probe magazine & put out new music with many local artists & producers! She also released her 1st introduction music video “What You Know” while working with rapper Brandon Grindz and helping with his Astrada’Naire clothing brand as a Brand Ambassador while selling her merch as well from clothing to homemade candles!

2022 she released her 1st FULL FEATURE music video “Let’s Roll” directed by Sando Films Featuring local artist Hillreye Banks which is the 1st single off her new project “It’s Personal” which was released last August & features some of New England’s BEST talent out there today!!!
