Zakiyyah
Zakiyyah is a Boston-based artist, singer, and activist known for blending opera, hip-hop, jazz, and R&B into a style she calls “hip-hopera.” She uses music and visual media to highlight marginalized communities and has performed at venues and institutions including the House of Blues and the United Nations.
She has also been involved in arts education, workshops, and community-focused projects, including work with Boston Children’s Chorus and other New England programs.
